Our Approach

Strategic Partnership

Collaborating across government, academia, civil society, and communities.

Addressing any issue requires cooperation and collaboration across sectors. Therefore, Climate Action Nepal works closely with government agencies, local governments (Bharatpur Metropolitan City; Godavari Municipality; Ratnanagar Municipality), schools and universities (Bhanodaya Basic School; Shree Secondary School; Amar Madhyamik Vidyalaya; Chitrasari Community School), community institutions (Birendranagar Buffer Zone Community Forest; buffer-zone institutions; community forest user groups), development partners (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung), conservation organisations, the private sector (hotels and resorts in Chitwan; Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs)), and the media (Khabarhub) to design and implement initiatives that respond to local needs while contributing to broader climate and sustainable development goals.

Our partnerships have enabled us to deliver programmes in climate education, climate-smart agriculture, clean energy, biodiversity conservation, circular economy and women's green entrepreneurship. By combining the strengths of different stakeholders, we are able to mobilise resources, share knowledge, expand outreach and ensure that climate solutions are practical, inclusive and sustainable.

We remain committed to strengthening existing partnerships while building new collaborations that amplify collective action for a more resilient Nepal.
