Climate, Conservation and Environment Responsive Journalism Workshop to Journalists and Reporters in Nepal

National-level media institutions and environmental communication platforms across Nepal June 2026 | Ongoing visibility and partnership engagement

Climate Action Nepal, in collaboration with KAS Political Dialogue Asia, is implementing the Climate, Conservation and Environment Responsive Journalism Workshop to strengthen the capacity of journalists and media professionals to report accurately, ethically and constructively on climate change, biodiversity conservation, environmental governance, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development. The initiative will train at least 12 journalists and reporters to improve the communication of technical information, weather forecasts, seasonal outlooks and climate advisories generated by relevant government agencies and scientific institutions. By strengthening journalists’ ability to interpret complex scientific information, the project will help ensure that climate and environmental information reaches vulnerable communities in a timely, accurate and locally understandable manner, contributing to improved preparedness, resilience and informed decision-making.
