The Water for Wildlife initiative is introducing distinctive bottle-shaped metal collection bins in ecological and tourism hotspots where plastic waste can easily leak into wetlands, rivers, forests and wildlife habitats. Promoting Clean and Safe Energy Access for Sustainable Cooking and Biodiversity Conservation – Phase II

Building on Phase I, Climate Action Nepal is expanding access to clean electric cooking for vulnerable households living near forests and wildlife habitats in Western Chitwan. The project is supporting 40 additional households to shift away from fuelwood toward electric cooking powered by Nepal’s renewable hydropower system.
